Admittedly bone white is not in the stereotypical fall wardrobe palette. But I've never been one to abide by that dated rule to not wear white after Labor Day. My closet is heavy in the black and grey spectrum so I've been looking for other neutrals in lighter varieties. I love this top in particular because of the high neck + center back wooden button placket. Classic, minimalist silhouettes with chic details get me every time.

'Tis the season to to bring plants indoors. I've been coveting this plant stand for a while now. My indoor plants are fairly adaptive to the mild shift in seasons we experience in Northern California. However, there are a few that would prefer not be sitting directly on our radiant heated floors.

I don't cook much. I'm lucky to have a partner who happens to be a great cook and I'll happily assist if there is a recipe to follow. Even more likely if the recipes are from beautiful books. I already have the first book from Simple Fare. This is the follow up, no. 2 of their seasonal anthology, and I hope to have it on our kitchen countertop very soon.

Brandy and I added this stunning magazine to our ever-growing piles of must-have subscriptions after spotting figs on a recent issue cover. Every page is a work of art. This recipe for Sticky Balsamic Figs will be on the menu for as long as we can get fresh figs, well into October.
